Big Basha

Lebanese food at its best!

They serve a variety of bowls filled with Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Foul and many more. With each bowl you get a plate with fresh vegetables, olives, mint and bread. The portions are pretty big, so if you are alone and can’t decide which one to get (which is basically the story of my life), you can kindly ask them if it’s possible to get a combination.

Make sure to also get a Manakeesh! Some people call it the lebanese pizza. They prepare it with either thyme, tomato, meat or cheese. Thyme is what you want though, trust me!

Banh Mi Stable

Hands down, Berlins best Bánh Mì!

Well, to be honest, best Bánh Mì I ever had, not only in Berlin.
Besides Tofu, they offer several meat options. Every sandwich comes with their special sauce, pickled vegetables, your “meat” of choice and their home made baguettes.
You can top it off with as much hot sauce as you can handle.

Make sure to come there in time though since they sometimes run out of Bánh Mì’s pretty quickly cause yea, it’s that good.

If you want to try a different style of Bánh Mìs, a variety of delicious vietnamese food and coffee, go check out Maison Han, which is located in Neukölln and run by the same owner.
