Vegan Junk Food
The Vegan Junk Food Bar offer a variety of mouthwatering vegan comfort food. They have two restaurants with different menus and atmosphere.
At Staringplein the original Vegan Junk Food Bar is located. It is a burger joint where you can choose from a variety of plant-based takes such as our Notorious SUMO burger, the Loaded VJFB fries, Amsterdam bitterballen, Chick’n nuggets and more.
The restaurant at Marie Heinekenplein has more of a dining atmosphere a lot of gluten free food options besides their famous plant-based goodness.

Mana Mana
Mana Mana is a small restaurant that serves delicious (mainly vegetarian) israeli food. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and you can actually watch them while they prepare your food. The dishes are perfect for sharing and the restaurant has a very cozy and friendly vibe.
My favorites are the Hummus, the Aubergine (smoked eggplant) and the psychodelic cauliflower.

Vegan ice cream heaven!!
First all vegan ice cream place in Amsterdam! It is a ooperation between the Brooklyn based ice cream makers Van Leeuwen and the local juicebar Juice Brothers.
They serve 12 different flavours like spirulina, turmeric, cookie dough, peppermint chocolate chip etc. Make sure though to come in time since they sometimes run out of some flavors.
Their cones are vegan as well, so you can even treat yourself with the real deal.
If you don’t feel like ice cream, you can get juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls etc. from Juice Brothers.

Maoz is a falafel sandwich buffet where you can choose between several vegetables and sauces. Most of them are vegan, just ask the staff. The pitas are either wholemeal or white flour.
If you choose to eat there, you can go and fill up your pita bread as often and much as you want.
